Exchange Rate

In July, the Rand improved slightly against the dollar, averaging R18,20/$ (vs. R18,77/$ in June). The Rand improved minimally against the Euro and Pound. Overall for Jan to Jul 2023, the Rand weakened significantly when compared to the same period of 2022, 2021 & 2019
