Cape Town vs SA Unemployment 2009 - 2022
The unemployment rates for SA and CT decreased in 2023.
CT unemployment rates are lower than SA, with a strict rate of 22,9% for 2023. The gap between the broad and narrow rates reveals the scale of the non-searching unemployed. Cape Town has the smallest gap between the two rates.
